Getting There
Where is the church building located? Our building is located at 408 Chandler Ave, a block off of Strayer Street. It's a big red brick building with large, beautiful stained glass windows.
Where should I park? The church has a parking lot off of Spring Street. There is also free street parking available. We keep a few choice spots open for our new guests in the lot.
Where should I enter? There are two main entrances to the auditorium, both off of Spring Street. The main entrance is nearest to the corner, while the second entrance features a ramp and is close to the parking lot for those who may need assistance.

Service Times

9:30am
Small Groups are friendly, age-based groups that study Scripture, develop friendships, discuss relevant life events, and grow closer to God together.
Sunday Morning Worship
10:30am
Relevant teaching, community driven, Christ-centered worship.
Wednesday Night - The Break
5:30pm
The Break is an informal gathering over a shared meal. We'll hold a conversation over the meal, play a fun game or two, sing a few new songs, and talk about our faith. The Break is a great way to start out or to get to know each other in a deeper way.
What is a Typical Sunday Like?
We're a family. Like any other family we all have our own styles and preferences. We encourage diversity and work toward building unity and community in our family. We would love to welcome you to participate in our ever-growing family.
What should I wear? If you like wearing a suit and tie, go right ahead. If jeans and a t-shirt are more your style, feel free to wear that, too. It's important to us that each person feels comfortable during worship.
What kind of music will I hear? The music you'll get to sing along with is a blend of traditional hymns and upbeat gospel played on piano and organ, as well as praise and worship music led by guitars and drums. We believe that everyone has a different way of connecting through music and we appreciate a variety of styles.
What are the sermons like? Each message is based on Scripture (which we believe is the central truth of our faith) and relevant to the issues facing each one of us today. Our pastor is open, honest, and relatable.
Will my children be welcome? We love children! Children are more than welcome to participate in our regular worship service. We also offer a Jr. Church that's led by some amazing people. There is a nursery located near the main room that we like to call the Wiggle Room for those parents who might need it. Children and youth are some of the most exciting members of our family.
Will I be asked to give to the offering? Guests are certainly not required to give to the offering. We believe that any offering is part of a spiritual discipline between the giver and God. Our regular attendees are encouraged to participate in the offering as we use those resources to be a blessing to those in the West End, the city of Johnstown, and the larger world.

What Do You Believe?
We believe that God loves you and me.
We believe that we were created to have a relationship with God.
We believe that all people have fallen short of God's intentions for our lives (we call that sin).
We believe that Jesus Christ, God's son, came into this world to restore that relationship.
We believe that you and I can have a right relationship with our Creator, through Jesus, and know true joy, peace and love.
There's a lot more we believe and hold dear. For more information click on this link to go to our beliefs page.
